Overkill Resume stuff

Posted on January 18, 2022January 18, 2022 by steve

Started talking with a friend of mine about resumes and had an interesting idea brought up

I like using the LaTeX language for PDF creation, so on my internal Gitlab I made a CI/CD job to compile my LaTeX to PDF compilation.

I might even be able to port it over to generate forms on the fly using user information, which sounds like something that has market potential.

Using user inputs to overwrite empty vars in a LaTeX file would be a cool way to generate “personalized” documents for stuff like mailers.

Maybe even combine it with some GPT shenanigans for even more tailored stuff?

It seems absurd, but it was kind of a fun project.

Now if only I had the ambition to bother with looking for a typical job lmao
